This is a very broad spectrum antibiotic & is very effective in dental infection though it does not seem to be prescribed as much as the ones used by the majority of dentist who seem to prescribe the old faithful, penicillin .
It can be taken without food, which is good because it does cause diarrhea in some people. Always read everything about any meds you take. Especially the little stickers they put on them now.
