You can. It is not advisable though, since it can cause an increased risk of heart attack and/or seizures. Also, cocaine could potentially effect the condition/symptoms that lead to you being prescribed the SSRIs (i.e. worsening of depression, an increase in anxiety, etc).

∙ 11y agoif you have anxiety problems i wouldn't recommend it, it will stimulate you worries, depending on doses, 40mg and up i would be carfull on the size of your line or hit, celexa can cause rapid heart beat as well as a large amount of cocain, it isn't known to be a fatal mix but to much of anything can always end up there, just know your tolerance...

∙ 11y agoYes and no. If you are on an SSRI, then you are probably suffering from some depression issues, cocaine use can cause withdrawls that can make depression worse. Using cocaine with an SSRI will not kill you, but will make your depression worse temparily.

Why do I get sick with Celexa?
It depends, if you are getting sick after missing doses that is from withdraw. However if you mean vomiting after taking Celexa there are a few reasons that may be happening. If you take Celexa first thing in the morning or with an empty stomach that may be the problem and simply eating before taking Celexa will fix the problem. It is possible that your body just can't handle Celexa or it interacts with some other medication in which case you should see your doctor immediately.
