Community or county colleges are more likely to let a high school student take college level classes than a state or private institution. Sometimes you have to take entrance exams so the college knows you will be able to handle the subject material. For example, if you want to take a statistics course, you may have to take a basic math test, or if you want to take a Creative writing course you may have to take a basic English comprehension test. Usually if you are willing to pay, a college will let you take a course.
I actually took classes for a whole year at my local community college and then asked my high school guidance counsellor if they would accept the college courses as credit toward my high school degree, and they said yes! I got to go to college instead of having to remain in high school. BUT, check to make sure that both schools will let you do this before you drop out of high school.
