Doxycycline and lovenox have no drug interactions between themselves, however they both interact with Caumadin.

Doxycycline and lovenox may enhance the anticoagulant effect of coumadin resulting in the delayed clotting of blood or spontaneous bleeding. The benefits of combined use of these two medications usually outweigh the risks and you should talk to your doctor if you have any concerns as dosage and timing do play a role in unwanted side effects.

Coumadin is warfarin. Warfarin is the name of the drug. Coumadin is the brand name invented by the DuPont company to market their formulation of warfarin.

And no, you don't want to take too much warfarin. Take only the mg. amount your doctor prescribes. Warfarin/Coumadin is a blood thinner. Taking too much will cause internal bleeding.

Your doctor should have advised you on this matter when he prescribed those. You may call his/her office to find out. Or you may contact a local pharmacy.
