No because Dayquill has allergy medication in it.
Vicks.
There is no cure for the cold virus, no. Medication can relieve the symptoms but you still have the cold.
Nope. You're taking two different pain relievers in the Motrin and the DayQuil and two different allergy medicines in Zyrtec and DayQuil. If you have a cold, take DayQuil by itself. If you have allergies and pain, take Zyrtec and Motrin.
Read the label. Vicks is NOT to be eaten and is used only by rubbing on the skin. There is a warning on the label for this. Go to the doctor.
no, buy a children's cold medication or get a prescription from a doctor
I called a pharmacist this a.m. about this question - my 11 yr-old son is on keppra and developed a nasty cold. pharmacists said no drug interactions. we went to doc when son later started running fever (cold turned into sinus infection) and doc also said keppra was OK with dayquil. Not sure about NyQuil, though. they can not take NyQuil while on keppra due to drug interactions.
The Vicks Personal Steam Inhaler turns water into steam. The steam is then used to bring relief to people suffering from sinus problems, such as cold and flu.
The only thing you can do is take some cough medicine like Dayquil or Nyquil. You can take self-help measures like not smoking or drinking, putting your face over steaming water and inhaling, aromatherapy, taking over-the-counter medicine like Dayquil or Nyquil (like the guy before me said), getting rid of the sources of any particular allergies, taking a hot bath, taking pure vitamin C, getting plenty of sleep, taking lots of clear, not sugary liquids, and making sure you don't have an underlying sickness that you don't know about, like the flu or pneumonia.
Rest, drink fluids, take some medicine, and put Vicks on your chest!
Vic ointment may refer to the ointment Vicks VapoRub. VapoRub is a cream that can help you with your congestion when you have a cold.
