May I politely suggest that if Answers.com is giving drug information for inquiries regarding taking ANY drugs - that their answers be correct and accurate, and that the their spelling be correct.
FYI: acetaminophen (Tylenol) is NOT an NSAID, it is NOT an anti-inflammatory drug (it is an analgesic and antipyretic). NSAIDS include ibuprofen (Motrin), naproxen sodium (Aleve) - which are for inflammation.
Next, phentermine is NOT indicated for ADHD, it is used in the short-term to treat (exogenous) obesity.
Phentermine may be taken with acetamoniphen alone, but there are numerous acetaminophen products that are combined with other drugs that are NOT safe to take with phentermine.
I am a licensed doctor of pharmacy. Misleading, vague or incorrect responses relative to drug information could present a potential danger for the user of particular drugs.

∙ 12y agoI was concerned about the same thing one day when I was having a massive headache. I remembered after taking the aspirin that I never go answer to my question. I called a 24 hr pharmacy and the pharmacist told me that taking aspirin with phentermine was fine and there should be no reaction, however, I take BC poweder and goodies. You should watch out how much of this you take as 1) it is aspirin and you shouldn't take too much and 2) both contain caffeine which can increase the effects of the phentermine and depending on the person and what other caffeine products you have taken could cause a stroke.

∙ 9y agoIt's always a good idea to wait a period of time like 30 minutes or longer between meds. But it looks like you can take them together, it can just lessen the side affects of each other at worst.

No, you do not want to take an over the counter antihistamine on top of a prescription strength antihistamine/decongestant combination. Taking too much antihistamines may make you too groggy and confused. You might even pass out or have trouble breathing. Too much antihistamine also dries you out and causes a severe sinus headache.
