In one of terrence Mckennas lectures he says you can take 20 leaves, fold them as small and thick as you can and put them in your mouth and masticate them. He says that this releases the chemical inside the leaves.
However Terrance also said that smoking Chacruna gives you a DMT trip.... I have had no luck with this so far however.

For this reason, salvia users who do not wish to smoke typically take it as a quid (a bunch of leaves rolled into a cylinder) which is held in the mouth and chewed. It should be noted that the effects of orally ingested salvia last longer than the effects of saliva that is smoked, even though the effects are generally not as strong. I've heard of people extracting "Salvadorian A" from saliva and since salvia's dose is measured in micrograms it can fit on blotter paper. So they lay it on a sheet of blotting paper like acid. But its hits of the active chemical in salvia prepared for oral ingestion.

I wouldn't even recommend the 10X extract. Beginners should start with the non-extract plain dried leaf Salvia Divinorum. I would recommend chewing the leaves for at least half an hour first. Smoke it later. Lastly, do not take any Salvia Divinorum at all if you're trying to get high or if you're immature. It is a sacred herb used for spiritual purposes. Use it with respect.

You don't need to intensify salvia, and if you did for some reason want to then just buy stronger salvia. I've had 10x extract and regular old 40x the 10x extract had me tripping hard. I became a car and was driving through some old scenic road out west. The regular 40x i had a bad trip. However, smoking salvia while you're drunk does intensify the journey.
