The only way it would be useful for you in any way is if it had air brakes, and you were going for a Class C CDL and wanted the air brakes restriction lifted. Class C is for vehicles under 26,001 lbs. GVWR which are either transporting hazardous materials (and thus require a hazmat endorsement) or are buses designed to transport more than 15 passengers (this includes the driver, and would also require the passenger endorsement, plus it would require the road test to be taken in an actual bus).

For a Class B CDL, it is of no use to you, whatsoever. For a Class A, if you attach a trailer with a GVW of more than 10,000 lbs. to it, you can get a Class A with that, but you'll have a "no tractor-trailers" restriction.

When do truckers use truck stops?

Truckers use truck stops to take breaks, check their vehicles for road worthiness or re-fuel. They are required by law to take breaks after a predetermined amount of time.

Can a truck driver know every road in the US?

For a truck driver to get their CDL, they must take a series of written tests where they have to label every road in a given state. All truck drivers have a week to take all fifty of these tests and by the end, they must score a ninety percent or higher to pass the written portion of their CDL. They have to know every road for several reasons. GPSs are unreliable and they must make their delivery on time. Many truck drivers drive solo so they cannot have someone check a map and they do not have time to pull over to check a map themselves. So yes, a truck driver can know every road in the US.

What happens when you put truck diesel instead of car diesel?

do you mean off road diesel insted of regular diesel? because there is no car and truck diesel. nothing will happen if you put off road diesel in your car, unless its under warranty and then you take it in and they see red diesel then bye bye warranty or if you get pulled over and a state trooper just so happens to have the kit to check it. Then you get a hefty fine since off road diesel has no tax on it. Being that it is supposed to be used off road like in bobcats or back hoes or what not. truck diesel costs 8 cents more because they have to pay road tax, but its the same fuel, on-hiway stuff.

Can the government take farm land which is owned by someone and use it to build a new road?

Override navigation system lockout in Chevy Trailblazer?

I have this same problem. I've been on the phone with the dealership this afternoon asking them to take the truck back. Taking away half of the features in the NAV while going down the road is completely ridiculous. Might have to switch to aftermarket or they can take the truck back! I have this same problem. you need to drain all the freeon out of the system. take the belts off. and take the bolts on the compressor out. its best to get under the truck. and there is a lot of wiggling to get out.

Can an airplane take off on a public road?

If the road is wide enough for the aircraft, then theoretically yes. It's not likely to ever happen, though; what is more likely to happen is an aircraft making an emergency landing on a road, in which case it may take off from the road again afterwards but is more likely to be cut up and transported away on a truck.

How do you get a dump truck to take a test in for class b?

Find someone who'll employ you once you have a CDL, and will offer their truck for the road test. It doesn't have to be a dump truck. You could rent a 33k single axle truck from Penske with an automatic and air brakes, and, according to the DOT, it would qualify you to drive a Class 8 dump truck.
