It can be dangerous to stop your regular medications while pregnant. You need to discuss with both your Ob/Gyn and your other doctors what you should do. In UK some doctors do special clinics for pregnant women, for example diabetics.

Can you be eight weeks pregnant to take the medical pill?

I'm not completely sure what you mean by this question, but here's my answer: If you have been taking a contraceptive (birth control) pill while pregnant, there will probably be little or no side effects. If you are asking if you can take other medications while pregnant, this would depend on exactly what medication it is you are taking. You should consult your doctor or a pharmacist to find out what effects your medications could have on your unborn baby.

What medications can pregnant women take that's safe?

There are medications that women can take when they are pregnant that are considered safe for the unborn fetus. What you can do is look online for a Nurse's Drug Guide and type in the name of the medication that you are wondering about. Usually they have a section called "Pregnancy Category" If the drug is a "Pregnancy Category X" These drugs should NOT be taken while pregnant. If you have any questions you should call a Nurse and they can check all of your medications and see if they will be alright for your unborn fetus.
