In my opinion yes, and by many others it is so. Self harm is different- it is a way to try and cope and live your life (though I stress not a very good one) and suicide is when you can't cope anymore. Please don't. Once started its a slippery slope- I speak from personal experience. If you need to- talk to someone, write a diary or whatever works for you. There are better ways!

Technically that's called self harm not suicidal action
Yes
An addiction is something that a person doesn't think they can live without. Thinking about self harm, looking up information on it, or consistently showing interest might mean it is an addiction, even if you do not self harm.
They may be withdrawn, self harm, gloomy thoughts, not speaking much, maybe sleeping a lot, loss of interest in things they used to enjoy. If you think they are suicidal, get them to a doctors for treatment
Self harm is something that some people do to hurt themselves in various ways. Self harm can become an addiction, or be an addiction even if a person doesn't hurt themselves. If they think about it often, or research it constantly, it might be an addiction.
Common signs that would be shared by a person with the eating disorder bulimia or anorexia and who is also suicidal might be.... * Depression * Isolation * Low self-esteem * Low self body image * Shy * Introverted * "Emo", gothic * Mood swings * Defesniveness * Cutting, self-harm
think of it your self
The psychological term for people who cut themselves is self-harm or non-suicidal self-injury. These behaviors are often used as coping mechanisms to deal with emotional distress or overwhelming feelings. It is important for individuals engaging in self-harm to seek professional help and support.
I think it would just depend on the person. When did a person start self-harming them-self
There are no immediate stages of suicide. Once someone beguins to think suicidally, one thing that sets them off (something that makes them feel sad, depressed, angry) could be the buining of self harm or the end to their life. Any signs of suicide or self harm should be taken seriously and the suicidal person should seek help immediatly.
The relationship of self-mutilation to suicide is still debated even though statistics show that nearly 50% of individuals who injure themselves also attempt suicide at some point in their lives.
yes or some people think that it's not . if you harm self like for example cut or hit yourself on purpose it is a sin to hurt yourself or others.
