The key is what type of transmission you have, Manual is no problem: put it in neutral, key position to release steering wheel with no electrical use (or individually turn off electrical that are activated in that position) and off you go. Automatics are more of a problem and are highly make/model specific. When I figure it out I'll post more. Happy trails RVowl

The last Isuzu rodeo Made was the 2004, I don't know why, but the single reason for me may be was the High and expensive cost of fuel, cause It was with only 6 sads cylinders and eats gas like an indigent when you say "there's free food on the Sirloin stokade..." in my recomendation the best model of Isuzu rodeo was the 1991 in line 4 cylinders with 2.6 I-tec Motor...good safer and cheap on gas and the best thing would be the car in standar transmission.
Isuzu Panther was created in 1991.

1991-1996 Isuzu Rodeo's use THM4L30-E Automatic Transmission. It also bolts directly to the transfer case and is claimed as one unit, and is recommended to be removed as one unit, then separated from each other outside of the vehicle. Hope that helps you. That is what my service manual said. Nothing quoted or directly reworded.
