Pilot can tow 4500 lbs
More info please. Tow it with a tow truck, or behind a motorhome with all wheels down?
Yes
The users manual on my 2008 Pilot 4WD states that the transmission components may be damaged if towed on anything but a flatbed.

The 2003-2008 Honda Pilot has a 3500 lb (1588 kg) towing capacity, 4500 lb (2041 kg) for boats. The 2009-2013 Honda Pilot has a 4500 lb (2041 kg) towing capacity for 4WD, 3500 lb (1588 kg) towing capacity for 2WD models.
Either disconnect the axle halfshafts if you wish to flat tow it, or put it on a trailer. Flat tow it as is, and you'll be replacing a transmission soon.
You should seek this answer from a certified Honda technician, rather than on a website where anyone can answer, whether their answer is accurate or not.
"Bob" the owner of the Hitch Shop in Calgary will tell you that it is 3500lbs (without the beefed up Honda oil/pwr steering fluid coolers fitted). With 4WD and the towing package you can tow up to 5000lbs.
How much can a Honda Accord EX tow?
Without the pricey ($1,000-$1,200) Honda towing package, the tow rating is 0#! When you install the Honda package the rating is then 3,500# for trailer and 4,500# for boat. Honda will not honor warranty claims for towing related repaires if the Honda package is not installed by a Honda certified mechanic.
