No the PSP costs much less than a PS3. Besides trade in's are at the highest prices for the item you are getting and not the cheapest prices except for what you are giving in trade. So when you walk in with a PS3 they will give you a PS2 or maybe just credit toward a PS2 depending on your trade in PSP package. Amazon.com gives you trade in estimate values for games and hardware that can be traded in for amazon credit toward a future purchase. Different models of PSP start at $35 and go up to $90 for the God of War Ghost of Sparta Pack.

Now seems to be a good time to purchase the PS3 with prices recently at there lowest and the older most popular game prices continuing to decrease with new games prices falling to below the prices asked for many of the same used games. I really like the PS3, but I do not have a PSP Go or the older PSP.
