yes it can but it is only semi so when you turn it off you need a computer to turn it back on
Absolutely nothing. The iPod will freeze whilst being exploited. Just hold the home and power buttons at the same time until the iPod shuts off, then turn it back on.
If you say your iPod is jailbroken, then that may be the issue itself. Jailbraking your iPod un-successfully can result in major damage. Either that, or your iPod may be out of battery life, (try charging it).
if is jailbroken, you cant turn the ipod off because that would happen
This is real easy I tried it an it worked just turn it off and wait like 10 seconds and turn your iPod back on and when you go to your music it should be back to normal.
The iPod screen may have crashed on an applications splash-screen. To fix this, simply do a soft-reset. Press the home and sleep button simultaneously for around 5 seconds. Your iPod should restard. If not, take it into an Apple Store for further examination.N.B. If your iPod is jailbroken, it cannot be seen by an Apple Store! When jailbroken, all warranties automatically expire and you will have to pay to get it fixed.
To fix a frozen ipod nano hold the "MENU" and CENTRE button. Hold for 5 seconds then release. Your ipod nano will go to the apple symbol then turn back to normal.
Try making sure it's charged first or try the reset feature first. If there really is a problem with it but it's jailbroken, the apple warranty is immediately gone and apple most likely will not fix it.
your iPod probably has a lock with a circle on the top bar next to the battery icon (if it is jailbroken or is an iPod 4g). If so, double click the home button and scroll to the music dock and press the button on the left. (screen rotation lock)
shut it down that will make the ipod turn of everything then turn it back on
all you have to do is switch off your ipod then turn it back on.
For the Ipod Nano and the Ipod classic, you just hold the play button down for 5 seconds or so. Do that again to turn it back on.
