No, Zach is not an unlockable character in Final Fantasy 7.
He is playable in Final Fantasy 7: Crisis Core though. Which is a fantastic game that not enough FF fans have played. Hopefully they release a remaster for PS4 or another console some day so more people can play it. As often as Square-Enix likes to re-release its old games, I'm shocked they didn't release some sort of FFVII anniversary package that contained: FFVII, FFVII: Crisis Core, FFVII: Dirge of Cerberus, FFVII: Before Crisis, FFVII: Advent Children.
You can't. Zack is dead during the events in Final Fantasy VII.
------------
You can get a flashback scene of him though. After Cloud's recovery from Mako poisoning in Mideel, you can go to the basement of the Shinra Mansion in Nibelheim to trigger it.
gamefaqs.com is a great website for any video game answers people may have.

Yes and you can find more about it if you play the PSP game Final Fantasy VII Crisis Core
No. In the end of Crisis Core: final fantasy vii (7) Zack meets cloud story continues and the last chapter of the video game Zack dies. Saying that cloud becomes his "living legacy" then passes angeal's / Zack's buster sword. In conclusion.... no Zack is not clouds father, even though they look similar.
Zack is 16 when Crisis Core begins and at the end he is 23.
Final Fantasy 7 is written as Final Fantasy VII.
There is no Crisis Core movie but the film Last Order: Final Fantasy 7 follows the same idea (Zack and Cloud ect.)
Zack Appears in FF7, FF7 Crisis core and FiF7 Before Crisis(not released in the US) The prevailing rumour is that the game will be released on Sprint mobile phones; it has not been verified.
genesis avatar then 100000000000000 infantry men shoot and kill you Zack dies sorry if this is as spoiler
Nope, The only character you get and is the main character is Zack

Final Fantasy 7 is for the PS1, but Final Fantasy 7 Crisis Core is for the PSP and is a prequel to FF 7.
Final Fantasy X-7? no. there is Final Fantasy 10-2 which is the sequel to Final Fantasy 10 (and is the only actual sequel in all of the final fantasy games) and there is Final Fantasy 7, but there is no Final Fantasy x-7. the games may be made by the same people but do not relate to each other in anyway other then the fact they are Final Fantasy.
