DA refers to the angle the nails are collated. There are two types of 15 gauge finish nails, DA or FN. DA nails are collated at 34/35 degrees and FN nails are collated at 24/25 degrees. Air driven nails are very effective. I've used hundreds of boxes of them and never had one fail yet. I have 3 nail guns and use them all regularly and take care of them.
I use the nail polish remover to polish my nails or you can the baby oil.
