A weak wireless adaptor can cause the signal to be weak if it's strength is not at full working power.
Depends on which kind of wireless cards your are running. There is Wireless B/G and Wireless N. The b/g cost about $20 if you go to a retail store, but sometimes you can find them for around $5-$10 at second hand stores or sites like Craigslist.com. If you are running wireless N which is the newest one, then you are looking at $50+ at retail stores.

I've recently installed a Linksys EA3500 router after futile attempts with a Belkin N150 and then a Linksys E1200. Both of the latter are fine for simply web page viewing on our iPads, but when it comes to video streaming, both could not do the job. Slow loading, pixelation, and stops/starts. With dual band and 300 + 450, the 3500 works like a charm. It says on the box that it is designed for video streaming on tablets, and that is absolutely accurate. Certainly worth the money ($129.00 at Walmart and pretty much everywhere else). This model is a less expensive option to going up $50 to the top-of-the-line EA4200. I'm a Linksys fan, so like being able to stay with their product. I'm pretty sure the equivalent Belkin and Netgear products would do the job as well.
Probably not. Digital cameras become obsolete so rapidly that they retain very little value and are difficult to resell. The value to a dealer would be negligible.
