The PS3 can only have a single connection to a TV or HDTV and an HDMI works to connect the PS3 to a HDTV for everything
Yes they are. They all play DVDs and Blu-Ray discs.Yes they do. They need to be connected to the HDTV with 1080P and a HDMI cable for the Bluray to work as a Blue ray disc player
They run on BluRay discs.
A PlayStation is a kind of computer that is typically used for playing video games. PlayStation is the brand name used by the Sony corporation for their gaming machine. It can also play BluRay discs, stream multimedia and allow internet access.
I have a PlayStation 3 and it only plays ps3 games and the bluray movies. I have tried to play Ps2 games and it said it was not supported, so ps1 is definatly not supported.
No the PS2 can not read the PS3 games because the are on Blu-Ray discs
You can download games from the Playstation Store you can not download the games on discs
The game discs for the PS3 are not CDs or DVDs and are BluRay Discs. The Playstation Store will sell downloads for full games that can then be played on the PS3. The Playstation Store has exclusive rights to downloaded games and the PS3 has been designed to prevent games from being added through the USB port and also made part of the user agreement for updates and Playstation Network Master accounts. The Playstation Store also has free demos that can be downloaded and played and Playstation Plus members can have a free one hour trial of any game. Playstation also licensed some game developers allowing demos for other games to be downloaded when there game disc is being installed. You can then play that demo without the game disc.
PS3 games are manufactured on BluRay discs. Piracy is illegal. Get a job.
No it is a PS3 and the PS3 games can not play on a PS2. Only one of the reason is that the PS2 can not read Bluray discs. Another is that it does not have the hardware for the game to work. There is a reason the PS3 costs more than a PS2 even now almost 5 years after it's release and the PS2 will never play PS3 games
Yes it is one of it's features and it also plays DVDs and upgrades them to the level of your HDTV and Connection. Of course nothing can play a Disc in 1080 P if your HDTV and Connection are set up for 480I or 720p. That means if you have a 1080P HDTV connected with an HDMI cable you can play blue ray disc movies and games
No as the PlayStation 3 Blu-Ray discs are too large to fit in the DVD slot on the PlayStation 2, although you can play most PlayStation 2 games on American PlayStation 3's and around 50% of PlayStation 2 games on European PlayStation 3's.
No they do not. Quick reason: PS3 uses Blu-ray discs to store the games while the PS2 uses DVDs.
