Xubuntu and Ubuntu are two different versions of Ubuntu. (Ubuntu has GNOME.)
Xubuntu is a Linux distribution based upon Ubuntu. It uses a lighter desktop environment, known as Xfce. Appearance and usage-wise, it differs little from Ubuntu, and can run the same programs. This makes it a better choice for some older computers.

I'm very sure it will but the 32 megabytes of graphics memory I'm not so sure about playing games on Ubuntu though. Plus if you need an OS built for older computers pick Xubuntu. It's about the same as Ubuntu but just for older systems. So, yeah I'm sure it will run Ubuntu just fine, but if that doesn't work just try Xubuntu. PSPSlimBoy ☺ :)
PowerISO is not supported on Ubuntu. There are a multitude of programs that can do the same thing as well as or better than PowerISO, available for free in Ubuntu's repository.
There should be a program (non command line) called computer-janitor that is designed to reset your ubuntu configuration. It uses apt so it shouldn't affect YOUR files.
By itself, downloading Ubuntu will not delete anything. However, if you tell the Ubuntu installer to erase your hard drive before installing, you will lose all your programs.
Xubuntu was created on 2006-06-23.
