depends if motor is 8valves or 16valves.
the 95 came with both type motors.
yes they fit, if same valve count.
up to 1995
the generation changes are.
89-89
91
96
do not mix generations or valve counts.
oh and if Module is a ECU, then my answer is wrong, see why?
you skipped the proper noun.
if ECU , it must match the exact car.
including, tranny, 2wd/4wd ,8v, 16v, year, Calif car, Federal car, Canada car.
and door count.
see my profile, see link, see my list of all ECU's and why they are all diffr.
cheers.
there are 20+ electronic modules on car.
Probably on the firewall just behind and above the pedals, a black box about four inches square.
1995 and earlier models use a separate ESC module mounted near the throttle body of TBI
yes
1995 and eariler models use a separate ESC module mounted near the throttle body of TBI
yes, if 8v for 8v or 16valves to 16v if not , huge list . see my swaps page, in my profile.
Remove the distributor cap and rotor. Now look in the distributor and you will see an electronic device that has 2 different electrical connectors on it. That will be the module. remove the 2 screws and take it out.
i have 1995 4x4 geo tracker with a bad auto transmission will a auto transmission out 1998 4x4 geo tracker fit in 1995
As far as I know , the 1995 Ford Explorer doesn't have a SEPARATE module for the 4 WD . That is also handled by the GEM ( Generic Electronic Module ) and I believe that is in the center stack of the dash and that you have to remove the radio to actually change it
The PCM is located under the console towards the dash. Take console out.
on 1994-95 Mustang v-8's the module is located on the passenger side fenderwell in front of the shock tower.
I'm not a mechanic / technician but I believe that the 4x4 Control Trac system on a 1995 Ford Explorer does not have a separate control module I believe the 4x4 system is controlled by the GEM ( Generic Electronic Module ) and that it is located in the center stack of the dash near the radio
As far as I know the GEM ( Generic Electronic Module ) controls the 4x4 on the 1995 Ford Explorer and I believe that is in the center stack of the dash behind and to the left of the radio
