You have one now and want to try it? Just do it. It will either work or not. My MacBook uses the same AC charger as the MacBook Pro. Does the macbook have a magnetlock charger? if so, it should work with macbookpro My MacBook uses the magnet lock adapter, the same as the MacBook Pro.

MacBook Pro, all the way man. You can't go wrong, especially if you are a designer. I am a designer and I use a PC so I can run my Wacom Intuos pen tablet....if you dont use equipment like that then the MB pro really is nice MacBook Pro is the way to go.
