There is no such thing as a 'Windows Pocket Hard Drive', but yes, you can use pretty much any External Hard Drive with not only a MacBook, but with all Macintosh Computers & NoteBooks.
Hope this Helps!
Yep. I used to play it on my macbook that was booted into windows with the game stored on an external drive. Just make sure you meet system requirements and everything.
Apple's configuration options for the MacBook go up to a 500GB (5400-rpm) hard drive. The problem will be finding a suitable 2.5" 1TB drive. There is a kit available that gives you 2 500 GB drives which replaces the MacBook's optical drive with a second 500GB drive giving you 1TB. Apple provides instructions for replacing hard drives. (See links below)
The hard drive should install and format just fine. However, if you're looking to use the pre-installed Mac OS X and software from the newer MacBook Pro on the older MacBook, it probably won't work well, if at all.
The hard drive stores the Operating System. Like for example : Windows XP or Windows Vista or even Windows 7 without the hard drive your computer will not turn on.
That 128GB drive is actually an SSD not a Hard Drive and no it isn't possible to replace the internal drive in a mac
There are 3 things you need in order to perform MacBook data recover: Apple MacBook, MacBook file recovery software and hard drive (or external disk).
Windows XP has no bearing on the hard drive size beyond what is needed to store it. Thus a hard drive on which Windows XP is installed can be anywhere from 1.5 GB to 3 TB.
Unfortunately, the MacBook Pro Retina is too thin to support any current standard of hard drive.
Yes you can have the Mac OS on one drive and Windows on another drive. Or you can partition a single hard drive and have both on the same drive.
A macbook hard drive replacement may be best left to the Apple genius if possible. If a Macbook is still under warranty then this service comes free of charge. By visiting an Apple Store the genius will be able to give a quote on how much a replacement hard drive may cost. However, for the more pioneering and industrious out there, instructions are available in pdf.
You can certainly move Windows to an external hard drive but Windows will not boot directly from an external drive. If you are running Windows in Parallels (See links below) you can have Parallels installed on the Mac's drive and then have your Windows virtual machine on the external drive.
Whether or not the hard drive has Windows installed on it is irrelevant to the actual process of replacing the drive. if you want to preserve the current Windows installation, you'll need to use hard drive imaging software to copy the data from the old drive. Otherwise, you can simply replace the drive and reinstall Windows as you would normally.
