Grill
The depends on the use of the grill. Cleaning and maintenceis is easier with propane but some people perfer the taste of the charcoal better. If you plan and taking you bbq with you camping charcoal will be better as some camp site do not allow for propane.
Instead of throwing or disposing of your barbeque grill, you can actually turn them into flower carts for your own personal use. However, if you do wish to dispose of them, you can recycle them piecewise: the propane tank must be completely empty of its gas, and then the propane company (or local propane company) can take it away. The rest of the grill can be recycled at local grill recycling centers (if you have them) if not, then you must take the grill apart, recycycling the metal parts where appropriate and recycling the platic parts where appropriate. The electrical parts also must be recycled. The easiest way to find out is by calling your local sanitation department and asking them for advice on how to dispose of your grill.

Propane BBQ grills are safe and cost effective. As long as the propane tank is properly secured and connected to the grill, you should have no problems at all. Here are some grill safety tips: http://www.homeownernet.com/patios/bbqsafety.html
The Weber Genesis E-310 can use any size propane container, as long as it has a standard propane nozzle connector.
The use of a propane barbecue grill in the yard or patio is a popular all-American activity. Problems can ensue when the weather turns because moisture from both rain and snow can ruin the propane tank. Make sure that your grill is never exposed to the elements, as a rusty cylinder is generally not refillable. Also avoid storing the grill in a non-ventilated area, such as a garage, to prevent a fire hazard.
If you have a grill that uses bottled propane, you can have a gas line run directly to it. You'll want to hire a pro to do the job for you so that the installation is a safe one. Most areas require that gas lines be run by plumbers and then approved by an inspector. Most gas grills use propane as fuel, running a gas line to the grill would not be enough. There are grill conversion kits to make your propane grill run off of the natural gas line in your home. These kits can be found at most stores that sell or service grills.
Most camping stoves use propane like a grill would. Some also use liquid fuels as well.
