no a wether *real name for a fixed buck has no hormones ... so he would not be able to tell you when a doe is in heat... a buck rag would work .. rub it on the face and front legs of a buck in rut and hang it in or bring it to your doe several times a day if she is in heat she will flag for you ..*wag her tail vigorously
