Generally, I don't put much faith in stop-leak products. There's no such thing as a bottle of mechanics. It's at BEST a temporary fix, if it does anything positive at all.
You can use an oil stop-leak product to stop an oil leak on your 2002 Peugeot 206 1.4.
Be careful - some of these products can plug the heater core
If you have an engine oil leak on your 2002 Peugeot 206 1.4, you can use an oil stop-leak product to fix it.
If your engine leaks oil, no you should not use synthetic oil because it will clean sludge and can make the leak worse. If your engine does not leak oil, I would highly recomend using synthetic oil(Pennzoil Ultra 10W30 from Walmart is a good and pretty cheap choice). As long as your engine does not leak oil using synthetic oil is a great choice regardless of how old it is.
use leak stop or something. Where is your oil leak?
Pressure test the system and repair the leak. Do not use a stop leak.
You dont. -Mechanic
Yes, had the problem myself. The power steering pumps leak on the very often. Stop leak is a quick but not a permanent fix.
Yes, it can be harmful. Use no oil treatment or stop leak at all.
I wouldn't recommend it. Replace the gasket.
Stop leak products for the radiator from auto supply stores are not meant as a long-term solution. They should only be used to get you home or to a mechanic who can repair or replace the radiator properly.
use duct tape!
