You can use wax, but It will be like a ice skateing rink if used on the floor. I use it on the walls in the shower and it works great..
Yes. I've used the better brand auto waxes also a very good floor wax by name of Lundmark that you only have to apply every 6-12 months.
Ceramic tiles are Glass on the surface. Wax would not be advised and might create a slip hazard.
Wax stripper
No, it is not recommended.
Ceramic tile is glazed. Being so, it is not something that can be made to look glossy because it is non porous. In theory you could wax it, but it would be messy, hard to maintain and very slippery.
Pull the toilet. Check the closet flange. If it is not loose or broken, replace the wax ring and closet bolts. Reset toilet. Level with wobble wedges. Caulk base of toilet.
To remove candle wax from a hardwood floor use an ice cube to harden the wax and then gently scrap off the wax with a putty knife. To remove the wax finish on a hardwood floor use mineral spirits on the floor. Use a cloth and apply the mineral spirits in a circular motion until all the wax has been removed.
sponge and alcohol :D
yes you can a lot!
No, it is not recommended.
The ceramic tile service is already a finished glaze. You don't improve the surface by waxing, you only create a build up of wax that will grab dirt and stain and discolor. Why would you want to wax anything that doesn't need waxing?
Tile has a glass finish & doesnt need wax, Wax can cause a slip & fall hazard when it gets wet Sealing tile is a misnomer, you really only need to seal the GROUT.. stop by the Depot & get some grout sealer, better for the grout

Use your hair dryer to melt the wax slightly. After peeling the wax up, apply a spray cleaner to remove the residue. The same cleaner that you use to remove soap scum from the tub should work just fine.
If its new VCT probably, and you will need to strip the old wax & rinse good so there is no stripper residue.. it eats your new wax over time.... If it ceramic tiles NO.
If its tile. Use a heat gun. Or hair dryer. Warm it up and scrape it off. Then use a wax residue remover for the rest of the wax
If you are talking about ceramic or porcelain tiles then yes. Granite tile and counters can also be cleaned using acetone. For softer stones like marble and travertine I would recommend using petrochemicals.
Miracle Sealants Mira-Strip, available from Home Depot, will remove most protective coatings, wax, etc.
There is no reason to wax a tile floor.
an ice cube. lay ice over the wax, let the wax become brittle, then, using a putty knife or a butter knife, scrape under the hardened wax. you may have to repeat if the spill is large, but it should lift right up.
