You'd have to use system transfer to migrate your ID from the 3DS to the 3DS XL before you can access your downloaded games on it.
If you download a 3DS game or DSi Ware (not DLC) from the Nintendo eShop, the game will appear on the home menu for the 3DS XL.
No. 3DS games are not compatible with the DSi XL.
No, 3DS games only work in a 3DS or 3DS XL.
Of course. The 3DS XL is just bigger. It can still play normal DS and 3DS games.
There are no '3DS XL' specific games. There are only '3DS games'. The XL is simply a larger model of the 3DS, not a new device.
Yes
yes
In comparison to the 3DS, the 3DS XL is much larger with a bigger screen. The 3DS games work just the same in both consoles.
Yes no metter what 3DS is a 3DS
No, you must have the original 3DS with the ambassador program. The only way to transfer the ambassador games to the 3DS XL is by doing a system transfer, from the 3DS to the 3DS XL, which requires both systems.
it should be the 3ds of course. if you are not convinced here are some 3ds features. 3ds features: have mii, looks cool in the inside, has 3d, has an controller like the psp, hear music, take pictures, get more apps. dsi XL: really big, records voice, take pictures, already downloaded games. they are both good. leave a comment if i should trade my dsi XL for the 3ds.
Yes there is a Nintendo 3DS, also an XL and a 2DS which is flat , plays 3DS games and cannot use the 3D feature , it is cheaper though. :)
