imovie
You do need a camera to use iMovie. Import pictures and clips that are already on your computer/mac.
Imovie is a free program for Mac , I am not sure if you can pay money for it online (like by the software kit) anyway hope this helps!
iMovie is an Apple product and you can get more information on it from Apple Support at apple dot com slash support slash imovie. You can also download the iMovie HD 6 Getting Started Manual in PDF there,
I Use iMovie On My Macbook
Use any online or desktop video converter. Online converters are free, so it's better and quicker to use them. For example, Online Video Converter, Zamzar, Online-Convert, Clipchamp Converter and so on. Just google and choose any of them.
First you need to convert the Powerpoint into video format, The most suitable formats to insert into PowerPoint are WMV. AVI, MPG. In order to do that you can use a video converter to turn your files to this format. Then you can use iMovie converter to make the powerpoint into the imovie. you can do this with a MKV to imovie converter.
Depending on how the avi files are encoded, you can probably just drag them into the iMovie library. iMovie will then automatically convert them (this may take quite a while depending on the speed of your machine). Once the clips are imported you can use iMovie to create your production. When you are finished, you can use iDVD to burn your final product.
You can't use imovie for animation. There is a software called "boinx istop motion" for mac. That is what you use to make Lego animations, but it requires you to use a video camera.
