Chevelle is an American alternative metal band that formed in 1995 in Grayslake, Illinois. A tribute act is a music group, singer, or musician who specifically plays the music of a well-known music act With this being said a Chevelle tribute is a band which is specifically playing Chevelle music because it is great music and they plan to probably put their own twist on the music and sell albums.
