I've tried that and it does discolour some - hairspray works on tested fabrics - this would be something I'd try - dampen a cloth (microfiber) and spray right on the cloth (generously) - I would first try it in an area not easily visible.
Yes, the ink from whiteboard markers (or dry erasemarkers) will not be absorbed by the plexiglass.

If you've already tried washing it with soap and water, then try an eraser. Regular kind or the Mister Clean Eraser thingy.
Well you can wipe the mold off but it will still have a dirty look to it. Also the mold is inside the wall too and it will just regrow over the wall again.
Try using the Mr. Clean's magic eraser. I've used it to get ink off of a number of surfaces.

try spraying hairspray on it it should help break it up enough that your magic eraser can do its job when you use the eraser on stuff like that it seems the less water on it the better good luck!!!
They are like magic erasers. They can take off crayon marks off the walls, anything really but it requires some scrubbing. They also work great for cleaning stove tops.
Mr Clean Magic Eraser are amazing when it comes to removing hard to remove stains and even permanent markers. If that doesn't work then may consider getting small bottles of paint to match your walls and do touch ups.
