I used it once to wax my car and it looked beautiful for ONE day. The next day the sun made it entirely clouded and it was white film that never came off. DONT USE IT FOR YOUR CAR
Mop and Glo is not a good product to use on engineered wood flooring. This because Mop and Glo contains a wax, which can ruin the finish that is already on the floors.
NO! Leaves a white dull film.
Use a 50%/50% mixture of white vinegar and water. This works!
Clean the dispenser after using each time.
use ammonia, full strength,be sure to have proper ventilation,as ammonia can harm you if you are in an enclosed area.
Mix equal parts of white vinegar and water, and use a microfiber cloth to wipe and scrub the affected areas. The vinegar will help to break down the build-up of the Mop & Glo product without damaging your laminate floors. Remember to rinse the floor with clean water afterwards to remove any remaining residue.
After trying many things, my husband finally used amonia and water and a stiff scrub brush...then a towel to wipe is down. That did the trick after lots of elbow grease on his hands a knees! What a mess...will never use Mop n Glo again!
Smart wash
I recommend you use a car wash detergent made especially for car finishes, that you can buy almost anywhere. Do not use any detergent that removes grease or it will remove your wax.
You will want to buy a wood cleaner that isalcohol based and a terry cloth mop. They are often sold in kits. Bruce and Orange Glo both sell good ones. Never mop it with water or use a steam cleaner. Don't use wax or wood polish if the floor has been polyurethaned. Keep your animals nails trimmed and felt pads on the furniture.
A good car wash soap, it doesn't leave spots, dish soap will.
a commercial car wash averages less than 45 gallons ...
