It is possible to use mothballs for squirrel control, but it is not that effective. A better way would be to hold up a turned down box with a stick, and attach the stick to a string that should be taped above some nuts and then stick the end of the string to some nuts so that when the nuts are moved, the string will be triggered and pull on the stick. The box will trap the squirrel. Then you should slide a big flat piece of plastic or something like that underneath and have other people to help you. Carry the flat side and box with the squirrels in and put it in the trunk of your car. Then drive to a mountain or park that is quite far away from your house. After getting rid of the squirrels, no more should bother you.
Yes,but very tricky to see for a human but for squirrels that's why it keeps them away.
Mothballs are legally sold for use of the purposes listed on the label. It is illegal to use mothballs for other purposes including using mothballs in gardens.

The Nutty Squirel Ride :)
Yes
you can keep a squirel as a pet BUT only if he/she is tame or from a professional handler dont just go out to the forest a pick up a squirel .. that can be a real DISASTER!
They will but there are more effective control measures for them such as addressing the areas where they roost.
they're called mothballs-for moths.
Well, you could load the mothballs into a shotgun! Or, use a catapult. The idea that they repel mice appears to be an old wives' tale.
Mothballs are poison and the dog needs to be treated immediately by a qualified vet. You can call your local poison control for immediate treatment but it does not substitute for Medical treatment. You can also call the ASPCA poison control for care instructions but there is a fee for contacting them.
