Yes, you can. I would cover a heating implement (flat iron or curling iron with foil. Put on rubber gloves. Take desired colour of oil pastel. Coat tendril of hair generously and run the hot foiled covered implement down the tendril 3or4X hairspray to set. Very temporary.
