Place any root vegetable such as onions, potatoes and carrots in the crock pot and set the chicken on top of the vegetables. Add half a cup of broth, white wine or water to the pot. Cook on low for 6 - 8 hours or until done. (you may cook on high for 1 hour, then on low about 5 hours or until done. )
