There are only two oils I use on air guns that are in my collection . Crosman pellgun oil and RWS pellet gun oil. Any other oils can damage the O-rings and seals. Crosman and several other air gun companies state the even using even 3-in-one oil is not recommended.

Yes you can use Rem Oil on your airgun. Rem Oil is one of the best in the Biz. The problem I have with it is it's both a cleaner, and a lube in one. I prefer to keep these two activities seperate. But It is very good for cleaning and beautifying your stock(wooden) as well as cleaning the outer parts. It's also a very good thing to spray the interior of the barrel if you will be staring the gun for long periods.
However, make sure you clean it well before firing it again.

First of all do not use any regular Oil and that includes 3-in-1 oil. Regular petroleum oil will eat the seals. You must use air gun oil like Crosman pellgun oil, RWS air gun oil or Gamo air gun oil. There is no such thing as an oil free pneumatic nail gun. Every nail gun requires oil every day you use it. In answer to your question, yes, you can use any nail gun with an oil lubricated compressor. The way the compressor gets it lubrication has nothing whatsoever to do with the tool you are using. The compressor is just supplying air to the tool.

The best paintball oil is Gold Cup oil and the best grease is Gold Cup Final Solution grease.
