First of all do not use any regular Oil and that includes 3-in-1 oil. Regular petroleum oil will eat the seals. You must use air gun oil like Crosman pellgun oil, RWS air gun oil or Gamo air gun oil.

The seal on the pump plunger is bad. The seals need to be conditioned with oil, and or replaced.
The Crosman 760 doesn't shoot Bullets it shoots BB's or .177 caliber Pellets.

PSI: It depends on how many times you pump the forearm. But Crosman says to never pump it more than 10 times. The 760 is rated at 625 FPS with a BB and 600 FPS with a pellet.
