find the two hoses leading into the heat core, normal at the back of engine unscrew the clamps on both sides an gentle turn and pull at the same time until they come apart. With both sides off you will need a short piece of pipe to fit inside the hoses. join the hoses together and use the clamp.
remove both hoses from the heater and join them with a short piece of pipe about the size of the inner diameter of the hoses. use 2 hose clamps to sealed and hold the hoses on the pipe. Or- cut the hoses and do the same type joining. later you will need another pipe and two more clamps if you want to rehook it to your heater core.

Safest bet would be a tow to the mechanic who will probably replace the pump. $400 - $500.

Remove the heater hoses from the heater core at the firewall and hook them together. In order to connect to two same diameter hoses together, get a 5 or 6 inch piece of pipe which is the same diameter as the heater core tubes from which the hoses were removed. Install the pipe halfway into one hose and secure tightly with a worm-drive hose clamp. Then once secure, do the same with the other hose.j3h.
