Yes you can, but it's a waste of money, the engine and the on-board-computer that control its operation are all set for regular gas, and you're not gaining any advantage.
Yes a higher octane can be used but not necessary since it's a low compression engine. Waste of money paying it, in my opinion.
Most likely it is Regular Unleaded gasoline. I suggest you consult your owners manual it will tell you what to use in there.
I have one of these mowers, and the owner's manual says "Regular or Premium gasoline, preferably unleaded".
Unleaded Premium
The correct mixture is 32 to 1, that is 4 ounces of 2 cycle oil per 1 gallon of gasoline. Regular unleaded fuel is fine but you can run premium also if you prefer.

Nothing. you may lose some performance but your B16A2 has a knock sensor since it is a Vtec engine. So if your engine has a knock, the computer will retard the ignition timing.

reg. unleaded will do fine, but it,s up to you if you want to spend more on higher oct.gas. if it pings with reg unleaded, than go to the next oct gasoline.
