Yes. The effulgence emanating from the eight animal spirit guides in mini skirts sitting on Bai Ling's shoulder was enough to outshine the radiation provided by her tatty silver mini hoop slip and terribly high heeled, rickety shoes. -or- Effulgence, the word, always sounds inimical to the glowing effervescent light it is supposed to represent. -or- A sewer is never effulgent, although it certainly may increate with somewhat sordid effluence. (This is after John Milton.) All of these sentences will work, although the first is the funniest and the last the most literate.
