Yes, but only if it is very high, like over 9.0. First test your KH and make sure it is sufficient -- if it is not you are at grave risk of causing a pH crash which can kill your fish quickly. Then add a very small amount of vinegar -- about 1/4 cup for each 500 gallons per day. Measure your pH first thing in the morning and adjust it down to about 8.2. Don't try to lower pH any lower than that.
That will NOT CLEAN your tank empty or not.
There is stuff at the pet store, amona remover i think its called. they can tell you. other wise do a big water change. 50%
You can't lower your interior body pH with vinegar. Your body is meant to keep blood pH at a constant level.
don't try it!
trust me
A pond heater is used to keep your pond from freezing solid in the winter. A frozen solid pond is bad for your pool liners, koi, and for some pool structures that may use cement.

The multi-chamber koi pond filter used by Kings Lyn Koi is a highly effective filtration system that is designed to help maintain a clean and healthy environment for koi and other aquatic life in the pond. This system consists of multiple chambers, each with its own unique function, that work together to remove impurities and toxins from the water. One of the key features of the multi-chamber koi pond filter is the use of different types of filter media in each chamber. This allows for a more comprehensive filtration process, as each type of media is designed to remove different types of impurities and debris from the water. For example, the first chamber may use mechanical filtration media to remove large debris, while the second chamber may use biological filtration media to promote the growth of beneficial bacteria that break down harmful compounds in the water. Another important feature of the multi-chamber koi pond filter is the use of a backwash system. This system periodically reverses the flow of water through the filter media, dislodging and removing any trapped debris or particles. This helps to keep the filter media clean and functioning at optimal efficiency, which in turn helps to maintain a healthy and balanced environment for koi and other aquatic life in the pond. Overall, the multi-chamber koi pond filter used by Kings Lyn Koi offers a number of benefits for koi pond owners. By combining different types of filter media and incorporating a backwash system, this filtration system is able to provide comprehensive and effective filtration, helping to keep the water clean, clear, and free of harmful toxins and debris. This, in turn, helps to promote the health and well-being of koi and other aquatic life in the pond.
If you don't use your tub then I don't see why not, however this could shorten their life expectancy because your bath tub isn't like their normal habitat (as pets) which is a koi carp pond.
From numerous websites, I've seen answers that range from 50 gallons, 100 gallons and as much as 1000 liters (260+ gallons)! I use the 100 gallons per koi estimate and have had no problems for the past 4 years of having my pond. I have ten koi in a 1000 gallon pond and a second 1500 gallon pond that is connected with a stream that has 14 koi. Two waterfall boxes, one skimmer and two 3600 gallon pumps running it. PH is always around 7.2 and haven't had any diseases, etc occur in the 4 years.
Yes my koi reproduce every year. All it takes is maintaining good water quality and providing adequate cover (plants, cracks between rocks etc .) to keep the fry from being eaten. Otherwise you have to use spawning mats and then remove the fertilized eggs from the pond and raise the fry in a separate fish tank until they are big enough to survive in the pond. Yes, use very course sand. 0.5mm particles, suggest A1 Grit crushed granite #10. See http://www.rockymountainkoi.com/ for details.
yes, fish also eat dragon flies and other small insects flying around the the pond thats why,if going to decoy dragonfly use us bait
All fish and plants will die. An acid will lower PH in the pond, a level that will clarify will surely kill all living things in it.
