Window cleaner is a good alternative to the high priced stuff the makers sell. Just spray it in the air & let it fall on the surface & then swiffer or rub it off with a soft slightly damp towell. DO NOT pour anything wet of your laminate and DO NOT use a steamer.
no, never. Steam cleaners and steam mops leave to much water on a laminate floor.
You shouldn't use wet products on laminate floors. A dry mop such as a swiffer duster will do the trick. There are products on the market that are excellent for cleaning laminated floors. They contain a cleaner that leaves the floors clean and like new.
Laminate floors have glue holding them together. The steam may cause it to loosen. Use a mop and water on the floor instead.
Yes vapour steam cleaners do a fantastic job on laminate floors and many other flooring types. They will lift dirt easily and quickly with little effort. The floor will look nearly good as new after cleaning with a vapour steam cleaner.
no :L
yes I would NOT use that on a laminate floor. You can buy special cleaners for laminate floors, or make your own. Also, Swiffer Wet Jet has cleaner that is safe for laminate floors, but you have to buy the mop that goes with it that takes batteries. Try to find a cheaper applicator, such as a terry cloth covered mop that you can find in a Dollar General Store, and I use distilled water, white vinegar, and alcohol in distilled water. 2/3 water and equal parts of vinegar and alcohol. Do not get the floor too wet. My best advice is to use a special cleaner. I think Wal-mart has a gallon of it for a reasonable price, close to the hardware department. Good Luck. The basic cleaning fact with laminate is...not a lot of liquid and something that doesn't leave a film. What's in the expensive laminate cleaner bottles? Window cleaner! Windex or store brand, it's water, ammonia and alcohol....Spray and go over with a slightly (very slightly) damp sponge mop.
Depending on how deep the stains on your hardwood floors. If you have a stain that is recent, you may be able to clean the floor with hardwood strip cleaner, if not then you may have to restrip the floor.
Use a Tardis :P
You would use a vacume
You shouldn't use any wet products on laminate floors.

Steam cleaners and steam mops leave to much water on a laminate floor. I did, just once, and the floor now crackles all over whenever you step on it.It is best to consult the manufacturer of your floor, but I would be hesitant to try it. It is usually not recommended to use water to clean laminate flooring.
Soap and water will be the best cleaner to use on laminate material.
