James Black, a blacksmith, created bowie knife for James Bowie. Bowie's heroism caused the knife to become well known across the country, and that is why the name is the "Bowie knife," because it was the knife Jim used the most.
A bowie knife
The inventor of bowie knife is his the brother of james bowie( he died in Alamo), Razin bowie(he is the actual inventor of the bowie knife).
The Bowie knife is named after James "Jim" Bowie, a 19th-century American pioneer and folk hero who played a significant role in the early history of Texas. While Jim Bowie did not invent the knife itself, he became famous for his use of it in various duels and skirmishes. The knife he used, known as the Bowie knife, became an iconic weapon. The exact origins of the Bowie knife design are somewhat unclear, and it likely evolved over time. However, Jim Bowie's association with the knife and his use of it in the 1827 Sandbar Fight in Mississippi and the 1831 "Sandbar Duel" near Natchez, Mississippi, contributed to its notoriety. The typical characteristics of a Bowie knife include a large, fixed-blade with a clip point, a curved and double-edged blade, and a guard (crossguard) to protect the hand. Bowie knives were known for their versatility, serving as tools, weapons, and symbols of the American frontier. While Jim Bowie popularized the knife and became synonymous with it, he did not invent the knife style. Instead, he played a crucial role in its popularization and its association with the American frontier. The Bowie knife has since become a symbol of American history and craftsmanship.
It is next to a bowie knife
A Bowie knife is a style of fixed-blade knife first popularized by Colonel James "Jim" Bowie in the early 19th Century. It was first made by James Black, although its common use refers to any large sheath knife with a clip point. The Jim Bowie knife first became famous due to Bowie's use of a large knife at a duel known as the Sandbar Fight. The knife pattern is still popular with collectors, in addition to various knife manufacturing companies there are hundreds of custom knife makers producing Bowies and variations.
The Bowie knife is an oversized, double edged knife of very sturdy build. It was designed by James Bowie himself, but he had a well-known knife maker fabricate it for him. He was expert with it, and by word-of-mouth became associated with it. Bowie died at the Alamo. Legend and Crocodile Dundee movies are largely behind it's appeal; it is actually a heavy and ungainly knife for use in the woods or conventional hunting situations.

That would be a GERBER BMF (Basic Multi-Function Survival Knife System)
You should decide on the function of the knife, and select the knife to meet the job. Survival knives tend to be big and mean looking, as if they were looking for a fight. This often makes them too large to be of most practical use. Choose a size and blade design to fit the expected job.
the thorns of its own..hmm.. (III-hydrogen)
You can get it from the Mystery Box, which is like a 1% chance. If you Pack-A-Punched it, you can throw it at a fallen/downed companion to revive him/her and gain the "see me, stab me, heal me" secret achievement although the Bowie Knife is better than the Ballistic Knife in Zombies.
