Yes for sure, it is a lovely peaceful city which you can meet the real Palestinian Christians of The Holy Land which they really like to welcome any one from all over the world.

According to Luke chapter 2: yes, the angel did visit the shepherds near Bethlehem. However, the question may be whether this really did happen. Scholars say that the story is unlikely to have been true.

Mary and Joseph journeyed to Bethlehem from Nazareth (in the north - in the region of Galilee) when Mary was pregnant. Jesus was then born in Bethlehem. The family settled there for two years or more and then returned to nazareth where Jesus grew up. The only other record we have of his childhood was when Mary and Joseph took him on a visit to Jerusalem (NOT Bethlehem) when he was 12 years old.
Yes Jesus lived all his life in and around Galilee .But he did visit Egypt , Bethlehem and Nazareth. and Jerusalem.
