Volunteering at a commercial establishment is not community service. It needs to be a non-profit organization.
Different possibility: It depends on the school. Some teachers will require you to interact with organizations that have already been designated as non-profit. However, some teachers will be satisfied with the conditions specified in the question. If this is the case, just make 100% sure that you will not be compensated for your services. If you're lucky, after you have fulfilled your required number of hours, you can ask for compensation, or even continue volunteering.
