Think about this logically if you have a layer of makeup on your skin how can your proactive get through to clear up your acne? It can't. Instead put on your proactive right before bed after you wash off your make up and then you can wear make up during the day.

∙ 14y agoYes you can, I use the same system and the mask as well. The warning about doing this though is that the mask after the proactiv solution or any facial cleanser can cause a increase in the dryness of the skin. I would suggest if you are going to do this that you use a moisturizer after you wash the mask off to keep the skin from drying. Don't use the repairing lotion after the mask either cause the peroxide in it will cause further drying of the skin. Use a moisturizer that is intending to hydrate the skin even if it is not from proactiv. I would suggest the clean and clear morning burst face moisturizer to use after any mask or any activity that could dry out the face.

∙ 10y agoIf you use Proactiv Acne Care Solution you can still wear makeup but might need to choose makeup that aren't comedogenic and are oil free to prevent any irritation.
