Yes, you can. You have to use so called virtual machine. There are at least three virtual machines which deserve attention. First one is VMWare (this one is for Pro, Shareware), second one is Microsoft Virtual PC (usual user, Freeware), and third one is Virtual Box (usual user, Freeware).

∙ 13y agoYes, you can have many "Virtual" different systems running on your computer. Linux, Win98, Winxp, Win7, Beos, etc. All you have to do is download a free program from VMWare. Search the internet for "VMWare" and follow the instructions. A time limited program, you can run under virtual winxp and when it expires, you can easily re-image it to continue using it. Very cool VMWARE.
