Sometimes guinea pigs. :P Some dogs, my pomeranian, (toy dog) Magic plays with my chinchilla and she sits on him and grooms him!
No. This animal is not a dog.It is a small South American rodent (genus Chinchilla, family Chinchillidae) long valued for its extremely fine-textured fur.
A dog can definately get jealous! Have you ever started petting an animal that wasn't your dog? Well, your dog will sometimes get jealous and come over to to either try to get attention, distract you from that other animal, or get aggressive with that animal. If you've ever come home after being with another animal, your dog will sometimes sniff you, smell the other animal, and leave you with his/her tail in between their legs, upset and jealous of that other dog! So dogs can get jealous very easily.
If your dog is jealous because you got a new dog then try spending time alone with the dog so he/she knows they still have your attention. In time the jealousy should subside.
a dog can get along well with a chinchilla as long as its alright with small animals/ rodents. I Warn you do NOT leave a dog and chinchilla unsupervised same with cats. all though some people train their dogs not to hurt chinchillas no matter how much effort you put into that the dog may still attack. i almost lost my chinchilla this way, as chinchillas like to be boss they like to jump and taunt the dog. anyway I would recommend it but NEVER leave them on their own. Thx for lisening Lauren
Because the dog gets jealous from the rabbit
At the first place, a chinchilla is not a dog it's a rodent. Chinchillas are crepuscular rodents, slightly larger than ground squirrels, native to the Andes mountains in South America. Along with their relatives, viscachas, they belong to the family Chinchillidae.
Yes he has a pet dog named Timber and he used to have a chinchilla ( i think)
A puppy can get jealous of an older dog but dont worry there can be a way like make the puppy be happy with somthing and distract them by somthing that will make them happy and not the older dog jealous.
There are two species of chinchillas: the long-tailed chinchilla and the short-tailed chinchilla. That vary in color. White Chinchilla Black Chinchilla Beige Chinchilla Purple Chinchilla Brown Chinchilla Grey Chinchilla Pink White Chinchilla
