The horses on Howrse die when their Energy, health, or morale reach 0%. After a horse turns 25, their health decreases by 2% each day. If your Howrse is over the age of 30 and dies at age 30 years and 2 months, you get a pass. So if you want passes, make sure your howrse is over the age of 30.
or, your howrses die when you neglect them. just because your howrse is old doesn't mean that you have to stop feeding, training, and taking care of it. you can keep it just like any other howrse, i have a mare that is 62, and she is doing great and still has foals and competes! (mind you, this IS a game, in real life people don't breed horses when they have just turned two, and don't keep breeding them when they are older than 20-ish; especially sine the common life span is 30.)
Sadly, yes. Your horses can die on the howrse game, it is normally due to morel reaching 0%, energy is too low, & the horse is just not healthy enough to live a happy live so it dies. Some of the sickness examples are: Flu and worms. Something else that can occur is the issue of old age.
If you leave a horse untouched, ie, not visiting it's page, not doing any actions with it, not putting it to bed etc, it will not age at all. you could leave it untouched for years and it's health, moral and energy wouldn't change.
no , they cant die because they are already immortal when given to you .
no it can't unless you don't do the quests when you first regester. Every horse accept your first horse can die unless philosiphers stone on your horse.

If you mean a foundie (foundation horse), a foundation horse is a horse that is the son/daughter of Gaea and Ouranous (not sure if I spelled that right). It is a first generation horse. ~eventinglover (my howrse username)
