Hamsters usually prefer to bathe themselves, like cats do. If they really smell, their is special shampoo for them, ask the people at the pet store. DO NOT GET IN THEIR EYES. Normally combing their hair helps keep them well groomed.
I'm not improving it just saying make sure you dry it with a towel so it doesnt catch a cold!
