It depends on what the manager found.

If he found something covered by your renter's insurance, you may be able to claim it but it begs the question, why didn't you inform the insurance company when the accident first happened?

It is (in California, at least) normal for the property manager to do an "initial inspection" within the last two weeks before you move out. If they do it, their duty is to inform you of anything that needs cleaning or repair in order to not get a deduction from your security deposit. So it's a good thing for you.
